Liselle Nelmes
General Manager
Liselle has expertise in operations and management roles, with a strong focus on strategy, people and culture leadership, and large-scale program delivery. As General Manager, she oversees the planning, coordination, and resourcing of Classroom Mastery, ensuring priorities are implemented with clarity and consistency across the organisation. She has worked extensively across the education sector, leading complex national and international initiatives and partnering with government and system-level stakeholders to deliver high-impact programs. Her work is grounded in a strong understanding of how effective systems, structures, and people practices support schools to achieve sustained improvement. Liselle has particular strength in building team capability, aligning organisational strategy, and creating environments where educators and leaders can do their best work.

Nick Worrall
Senior Program Manager
Nick specialises in the coordination and delivery of Classroom Mastery programs, helping schools achieve maximum impact from program implementation. He has over a decade's experience in program management and teaching, and is skilled in supporting teams to achieve timely, quality results.

Yolanda Charalambous
Training and Coaching Lead
Yolanda is the Training and Coaching Lead for Classroom Mastery, responsible for leading the coaching team, overseeing the quality and coordination of program delivery, and contributing to the design and refinement of content. She has more than 20 years of experience as a teacher and school leader, with special expertise in early years literacy. She is dedicated to ensuring that research and instructional design are translated into practical, usable approaches that strengthen teaching practice.She has always valued partnering directly with educators through modelling, observation, and targeted coaching to build cohesive, high-quality classroom routines through real world experience. Yolanda places strong emphasis on school culture as the foundation for improvement, with a focus on relational trust, clarity of expectations, and inclusive environments where staff and students can thrive. Her approach draws on restorative practices and a commitment to high expectations for learning and behaviour, alongside the social and emotional development of students. She has completed advanced professional learning through Harvard University programs focused on leadership and instructional practice.

Kirsten Furness
Trainer and Coach
Kirsten is a highly experienced senior secondary teacher, school leader, and education consultant. She has contributed to system-level education initiatives, including leading research and framework development for school recovery and resilience following natural disasters, and designing and delivering professional learning to support senior secondary reform across more than 40 schools. Kirsten brings deep expertise in curriculum and has undertaken extensive work for VCAA, including co-authoring curriculum materials and practice exams, contributing to curriculum design and benchmarking reports, and facilitating professional learning. Her practice is underpinned by postgraduate study in educational leadership and research, including a Master of Educational Management and a Graduate Certificate in Educational Research from Monash University. Kirsten is also an accredited coach with the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership and has contributed to mentoring programs supporting early-career educators and university students.

Nellie Wilmot
Trainer and Coach
Nellie is an experienced primary school teacher, literacy specialist, and instructional coach with experience across schools in the United Kingdom and Australia. She specialises in early literacy and numeracy instruction and intervention, and has led whole-school improvement scaffolding in literacy, mathematics, and science. She has worked in diverse contexts, including with students with English as an additional language, from refugee backgrounds, trauma-affected learners, and students with additional learning needs. She maintains high expectations for all learners and adapts instruction to ensure students are appropriately supported and challenged. Her practice is strongly data-informed, with assessment and analysis used to guide teaching and inform change. Nellie takes a collaborative and whole school approach, grounded in a shared purpose, working with teachers across all levels of experience to strengthen practice via respectful, targeted coaching and feedback. Nellie holds a Master of Education from La Trobe University.

Bridie Archer
Trainer and Coach
Bridie has more than 20 years of experience across classroom teaching, inclusive education, literacy intervention, behaviour support, and mentoring pre-service teachers. She has specialised in working with diverse learners, such as students with additional learning needs, and focuses on ensuring access to learning through differentiated support. As an education consultant, she has led the design and implementation of reading intervention and tutoring programs grounded in systematic synthetic phonics and evidence-informed literacy practices, helping to build staff capability for implementation. Bridie is skilled in building collaborative relationships across school communities, working closely with teachers, leaders, parents, and allied health professionals to support student engagement and strengthen classroom practice through coaching grounded in evidence based approaches.

Jo Griffin
Trainer and Coach
Jo is a highly experienced teacher, leader, and coach with over 20 years in primary education. She has specialised in system-wide improvement, leading the implementation of structured literacy, knowledge-rich curriculum design, and explicit instruction across schools and networks. She is currently also a Curriculum and Subject Lead at Ochre. With a Master of Education in Language, Literacy, and Learning Sciences, Jo brings a strong research foundation to her work. She is passionate about partnering with schools to establish coherent, sustainable approaches that translate evidence into consistent, high-impact teaching practice

Talia Botica
Trainer and Coach
Talia has a diverse education background spanning classroom teaching, leadership, coaching, and university instruction. With a specialty interest in literacy, she has also supported colleagues in strengthening classroom management, student engagement, and effective routines. She holds a Master of Education in Leadership and Management which underpins her approach to practical applications, helping educators implement clear, actionable strategies that lead to observable gains in outcomes. She is committed to making complex ideas accessible and immediately usable in the classroom.

Lisa Harris
Trainer and Coach
Lisa is an experienced school teacher and leader who has served as a Deputy Principal across multiple schools, with a strong focus on curriculum development and implementation. She has also worked extensively as an instructional coach, supporting teachers to strengthen their practice and integrate consistent, high-quality approaches across classrooms. Lisa played a key role in implementing the Fogarty EDvance program in her school ensuring its principles were applied with clarity and fidelity. She is dedicated to building teacher expertise through purposeful professional learning, aligning curriculum and practice to drive meaningful, sustained improvement in student learning.

Knowledge Society co-developed Classroom Mastery with Australia’s leading classroom management expert, Dr Tim McDonald, to enable teachers to achieve the outcomes they desire in their classrooms.

Chief Executive Officer, The Y, Western Australia, classroom management expert and author of Classroom Management.
Tim partnered with Classroom Mastery’s program designer, Knowledge Society, to scale up the impact of Classroom Management and the evidence-based Positive Learning Framework and its strategies, and together they have created Classroom Mastery. The program is informed by strong evidence bases in the science of learning, human behaviour and cognitive science, and aims to help schools and education systems reduce classroom disruption and create calm and ordered classrooms where learning takes priority.
